What this website is

This is a brochure website. It describes our railcar repair, maintenance, fabrication, parts inventory and training services, and it gives you a way to get in touch. It does not sell anything online and it does not require you to create an account.

What we collect

We only collect the information you decide to send us. If you fill in the contact form or email or call one of the addresses listed on this site, we receive whatever you put in those messages. Typically your name, your email address, your phone number and the details of your enquiry.

Job applicants who email a completed employment application to isaac@truerail.com send us the information contained in that application. We treat that as part of our hiring process.

We do not use this website to build advertising profiles, and we do not run tracking pixels or newsletter sign-ups through these pages.

Why we use it

We use the information you send for one reason: to respond to you. That means answering an enquiry about railcar repair or parts, following up by phone or email, sending a quote, or reviewing a job application. We do not use your details for anything you did not contact us about.

Who sees it

Your message is read by the people at True Rail who need to act on it. For sales enquiries that is Brent Freeland and the team he works with; for job applications that is Isaac Smith. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with outside companies for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and applications for as long as we need them to deal with your request and to keep a reasonable record of our dealings with customers and applicants. When we no longer have a business reason to hold your information, we remove it.

Asking us to remove your information
